Founded by Teresa Broggy in 2005, the Geography Society continues to attract new members. There was considerable interest again this semester. If you were unable to sign up at Clubs and Socs Day, you can do so now with the Students’ Union. We are very anxious to recruit new committee members. The following positions are now available: Public Relations Officer and Treasurer. If you are interested in applying for any of these positions, please contact us. This semester promises to be an active one. A Saturday outing to the Mahon Falls, Co. Waterford, is on the cards. To kit you out for this outing, we are pleased to invite you to purchase our official hoodies, jackets and t-shirts. We are also going to organise a night out, in the coming weeks, and a pizza party in the Lounge. Remember to visit our Bebo page for upcoming events www.bebo.com/MicgeoS. You can let us know what you want to do and when you want to do it. Your contribution to the Society is fundamental to its success. Hence, we welcome your ideas and suggestions.
