Executive Committee

While the main responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Union lies with the General Manager and the sabbatical (full-time) Officers, the Students’ Union Executive is the committee that runs the Union on an ongoing basis.

The Executive (or Exec for short) is made up of thirteen elected members whose responsibilities cover a whole range of student concerns from educational issues to accommodation to discrimination and much more.

Of the thirteen Exec members, the President and the Vice-President are paid full-time officers, while the other nine Officers work on a part-time, unpaid basis.
