Everybody is welcome to come to the Philosophy Society meetings, which all Philosophy students are encouraged to attend. Talks are given by visiting philosophers, Mary I lecturers and students. These meetings are entertaining as well as instructive, and always well attended. Last year, the philosophy society also held film screenings in the college of contemporary films with a philosophical theme.
