Physical Activity and Sport in Mary Immaculate College
It is important that you plan physical activity into your college schedule…remember it is recommended that all adults are active for at least 30 minutes every day. You will find that being involved in sport gives you the opportunity to develop friendships and to enjoy a social side of college life. We, at Mary Immaculate College would encourage all students to take part in sport and recreation throughout their time in the College. Coaching is provided at introductory and advanced levels. You can compete in college and intervarsity competitions or you can play at recreational level. Tailteann is open every day from Monday–Friday until 10pm. If there is a sport that is not provided or you would like to be involved in setting up a new sports club please contact Louise Quinn in the SU. If you have any other queries just drop into the sports office or contact us on numbers below.
