Last week was AMAZING! So amazing that I feel the need to share with you a few of my own personal highlights! But before I do that I have to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to Mairéad, Noel, Dave, Michelle, Ali and all those you had a part to play in giving us HOT Week 2012. Ye are all awesome and as a 4th year I can safely say ye saved the best until last and I really appreciate it! *hugs all*
Now for those highlights!
Tuesday: The Kanyu Tree! Shane, Oisín, Daniel and Ruairí! They were brilliant! Hearing their songs live was fantastic and the fact that Daniel recognised me from Twitter as roys7thmember, I was delighted (yes I am a nerd!) They are very lovely lads too!
Wednesday: Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters rocked the Lounge! I thoroughly enjoyed it! Ronan, Morgan, Shane and Sean are brilliant and there was Twitter related recognition again which was really cool! They are also fantastic!
Thursday: In case you didn’t know or haven’t guessed I am a fan of Royseven and when the line-up was announced at the end of January I was beyond excited to see them! For those of you wondering, yes the Twitter username is inspired by Royseven. Angel Lane was the location for the final night’s festivities. Seeing the Royseven flag and drum kit on stage was amazing. The dance floor filled up quickly and unlike Cinderella, the lads came on stage after midnight! Dazzy, Sam, Lego, Bernard, Eamonn and of course Paul were all there and they rocked it Royseven style! Thanks to the wonderful Sharon McNally who got me a set-list. As I type, I’m looking at it now and I’m sorry to say that they didn’t play Crash, Happy Ever Afters or We March On because they are wonderful songs but the set was upbeat which added to the party atmosphere so I’ll forgive them that one! To be honest, I was just delighted that they were there because I do love them! They are AWESOME! Thanks again MISU! I love ye too! <3
