Mary I Freshers to face Queens Uni in League Final today

Mary I Freshers Footballers are playing in the Higher Education Division 2 League Final today at 2pm in UCD against Queens University.

Having topped the group in the league section they beat St. Patrick’s, Drumcondra in the semi-final before Christmas.

Bernard Brogan: Let's win it for Alan

Bernard Brogan says Dublin want to win a first Allianz Football League title since 1993 for his brother, Alan, who is suspended for the final on Sunday week.  

Alan Brogan will miss the final clash with Cork on April 24 after he was sent off in the draw with Galway last Sunday. He has decided not to appeal the referee's decision.

The eldest of the three Brogan brothers was shown a straight red card just seven minutes into a game that was effectively meaningless for the Dubs as they had already qualified for the final.

Collingwood Cup: MIC v RCS

Mary Immaculate vs. Royal College of Surgeons (3-3 AET, 5-4 on penalties) Wednesday February 23rd 2011.

After elimination from the Spillane Cup, Mary I were drawn in the Duggan Cup final against RCSI with the hope of bringing a 3rd trophy in as many years back to Limerick.

Mary I started the Collingwood against tough opposition in UCC who have claimed 5 titles since 2000 and many believed they would go on to claim a 6th this year.
