Hello again everyone!

Yep it’s week 5, time flies when you’re having fun (or trying to get your FYP done!!)! By now I think everyone has gotten used to the new building and it kind of feels like it’s always been there.
 
So what have we been up to! Well we are happy to say that we’ve fulfilled one of our key promises from our manifesto and we’ve helped to get the LGBT society revamped and relaunched in the college. The society exists for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans students to meet new people and make friends in a safe environment. But don’t feel like you have to label yourself, everyone is welcome. The society has strict rules about confidentiality and all members’ privacy is respected.

There’s a great committee in place and already they’re linking up with societies from other colleges, such as Out in UL, to make sure it’s going to be an exciting year.

We hope all the 3rd year B.Eds were happy with their senior teaching practice; and best of luck to everyone preparing to head out on their Home TP in the coming weeks (ourselves included)!
